TERMSANDCONDITIONS

1. Warranty of Merchantability and TermsAll our goods are in GOOD TO excellent condition for sale. Warranty conditions are stated in the product information provided.

2. Product Description and Display
40GOING20 Online Shopping does our best to display the colour, size and measurements of our merchandise as accurately as possible. However, colours visual of the items will also depend on your monitor settings. Thus, Customers’ Satisfaction is not guaranteed.

40GOING20 does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.


3. Price and Billing Accuracy
All our prices are nett and priced in Singapore dollars.

40GOING20 ensures accuracy in our billing as all our transactions are automatically processed and manually checked for errors
4. Delivery of Parcels
We send our items through local mail provider, Singapore Post. Should you need other mode of delivery, please indicate under comments upon confirmation of orders. (FOR EXAMPLE, SOME OF OUR VIP / WHOLESALE AGENT REQUEST US TO SEND PRIVATE AGENCY - CHEAPER RATE)

Customers may choose to have their parcels sent through
i) registered mail or
ii) by normal mail (free of charge)
through our local mail provider, SingPost for both local and overseas delivery. We apologize that we do not deliver to P.O. Box addresses.

40GOING20 will take utmost care to pack your goods in proper protective plastic bags, bubble wraps and paddings (if required FOR FRAGILE ITEM ONLY). All items are checked for defects and carefully wrapped to prevent damages in the mail process before delivery.

For registered parcels, the article number and month/year of posting will be sent via email to customer after item has been sent. You may check the status of your mail at http://www.singpost.com.sg/
40GOING20 shall not be held responsible for any loss of parcel sent. Thus, customers are strongly encouraged to select the registered mailing option.
Local Registered Delivery Charge A flat rate of $2.50 per PIECE

International Registered Delivery Charge - depends on areaa. Standard Delivery (Air Mail) - 5 to 15 business days after despatch
From SGD $37.00 onwards (Total delivery charges will be confirmed once we receive your order)
b. Express Delivery - within 7 business days after despatch
From SGD $55.00 (Total delivery charges will be confirmed once we receive your order)
Cash on delivery, meet-ups payment, and concealed cash payment methods are strictly not available – Subject to sales – reps schedule if you are buying more , self-collect from West area. ONLY upon receipt of payment, order will then be processed.


Malaysian customers We can also accept payments to our Malaysian RHB/HSBC/ALLIANCE/PUBLIC/Maybank CURRENT / SAVING / CREDIT CARD account.
For delivery outside of Singapore, the total delivery cost will be confirmed after we receive your order.
For international orders local Customs Duty and/or Sales Tax and other taxes may be payable, please contact the customs office in your destination country for more information.

5. Confirmation of Order
An email acknowledgement will be sent to the customer upon successful submission of the online order. This order confirmation notice shall be within the same business working day or next working day for orders received after 6.00 PM Singapore time.

6. Order Status
Customers may check their order status by logging into their account.
7. Payment MethodsWe accept Local Bank (UOB/OCBC/DBS/POSB) Transfers and PayPal 5%merchant charges payments. For Bank Transfer (via ATM or Internet Banking), we will need you to EMAIL US ONCE YOU HAVE MADE SUCCESSFUL TRANSACTION.

Via Credit card payment through Paypal
We accept credit card payments via PayPal. All orders paid using PayPal will be invoiced in SGD Dollars and a transaction fee of 5% applies. The Singapore-to-YOUR ceurrency conversion rate will be determined at the time of order confirmation and will use a prevalent rate that is equivalent to processing banks rate. For PayPal payment, we will be notified of your payment from PayPal directly.

8. Cancellation of Orders, Exchange and Refunds Full amount will be refunded if good(s) is(are) unavailable, or when we fail to deliver the goods within the agreed time frame.
No cancellation, exchange or refund is allowed once the order is confirmed, submitted or paid by the customer.

Our exchange policy applies only for damaged goods or if Customer has received a different item ordered. Customer must then contact us by email within 3 working days from date of receipt of goods, stating your Order ID, transaction ID, email, full name, contact number and most importantly, to confirm your address

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping cost for you based on your selected items and the shipping options/methods you choose.

We are using  delivery service for our Local and Overseas Shipping.

For Local Shipping: (Delivery within Singapore)
 We offer three types of shipping methods:
 Normal Postage mail
  • Free Normal Postage Mail for Local delivery - within Singapore !!
  • The most basic shipping method and there are no insurance or tracking options
  • We are not  liable for any lost/damage item during the delivery process, neither accept complaints or feedbacks for items not received
  • Shopper can choose Normal Postage mail (with COP) - an official Singpost Certificate of Posting Receipt (SG$0.20), payable by shopper during checkout. This COP is a proof of receipt to show that we have indeed shipped out your item\s, this is for the benefit of both buyer and seller. It will be scan and email to you when your parcel has been shipped
  • Please make sure your letterbox is cleared for postman to put in the items. For bulky parcel (3 items and above), please make sure someone at home to receive the parcel for the next 1-3 business days, 9am-6pm Mon-Fri (excluding public holiday), after received the item/s shipped notification email from us. 

 Standard Registered mail (Recommended)
  • Parcel will be delivered to your doorstep - only need to top up SG$2.50, with your parcel insurance (limited to the declared item value or S$68 (whichever is lower)) and tracking options
  • A Registered Article (RA) Number will be provided after parcel have been shipped, so you can check the status of the parcel and make the necessary arrangements; to ensure someone at home to receive the parcel from the postman during the delivery hour (9am-6pm Mon-Fri (excluding public holiday)).  Don't worry if nobody at home during the delivery hour to receive the parcel, as you can either arrange for a re-delivery or collect the parcel at the post office by using the delivery advice card left by the postman.   
  • Free Registered mail on order SGD$250 or more. 

SpeedPost Islandwide
  • Postage will be charged according to Speedpost Islandwide Services ratefrom SingPost
  • Parcel will be delivered to your doorstep with your parcel insurance (Please refer to SpeedPost's FAQ on claim limit for details) and tracking options
  • A tracking number will be provided after parcel have been shipped, so you can check the status of the parcel and make the necessary arrangements; to ensure someone at home to receive the parcel from the courier during the delivery hour (8am to 10pm,  everyday) or you can call the courier to request change of delivery time if nobody at home during the delivery hour to receive the parcel.  

For Local Shipping, Shoppers should receive the package within 2 – 3 business days after item/s have been shipped.
We strongly recommend local shopper to choose Standard Registered Mail (additional SG$2.24) shipping method to ensure your parcel is secure and for a peace in mind.  Please note that NORMAL POSTAGE MAIL is not recommended as SingPost is unable to track their whereabouts due to no tracking number for normal mail.  

For Oversea Shipping:                                                                              
We offer two types of shipping methods:
Standard Registered Airmail  
  • Ideal for parcel weight not exceeding 2KG
  • Estimated delivery time: up to 4 – 16 business days (for Major Cities) after item/s has been shipped, depending on the country.
  • Cost SG$2.20 (Registered) + Postage rate
Postage rate

SpeedPost Air Parcel
  • Postage will be charged according to Speedpost Air parcel rate from SingPost
  • Delivery requires up to to 6 – 16 business days (for Major Cities) after item/s have been shipped, depending on the country

For Oversea orders, we will not charge you any sales, customs or duty tax on top of your order. However, you might be required to pay customs and duties tax before your local customs release your package. Please enquire at your local customs to familiarize yourself with the local laws.

Parcel Tracking
Both Standard Registered mail/Airmail and Speedpost (IslandWide/Air Parcel) Shipping methods include online tracking/delivery confirmation (selected countries only) to ensure your parcel is secure.
We will send you the Registered Article (RA) Number once your parcel/s has been shipped and you can track the status of the parcel easily. Our delivery service provider provides online tracking system from their website as below:

Exchange/Returns
Only defective items that are purchased at   this  website that cannot be mended can be exchanged within 7 days of delivery.
The colours of the actual piece might be slightly different from the photo seen on the website due to different computer displays, lightings or other effects on the photo. No refund or exchange is allowed in the case of such colour differences.
Exchange will be made only if the item is returned in the unused & original condition. Please email us photos of the defective item and return the item to us with the full and original packaging within 7 days.
Shipping and handling charge imposed for the exchange will be paid by the customer.
We will make Refund only if the defective item cannot be mended or paid item is out of stock.
Items with signs of tampering, washing, altering will not be entertained.
All promotional items are non-exchangeable or returnable once sold.
Due to hygiene reason, all lingerie items are non-exchangeable once sold.

Refusal of Orders
We reserve the right to cancel your order if we do not receive payment within 3 calendar days after your order. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to quality control, stock unavailability, publishing error, or any other reasons. We also reserve the right to alter the availability or duration of any promotional items at any time. If the order is cancelled, refund of the amount will be made via internet banking. Should your order be cancelled, we will be in touch with you via email within 48 hours.

Product Information
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. All sizes and measurements are approximate, however we do make every effort to ensure they are as accurate as possible. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time of publication. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Goods are subject to availability. As there is a delay between the time when the order is placed and the time when the order is accepted, the stock position relating to particular items may change. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock before we accept the order, we will notify you as soon as possible and you will not be charged for the out-of-stock items.
